Acupuncture
A Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy where fine needles are inserted at specific sites of the body to that act locally as well as at distant sites in assisting the body in the healing process. Moxibustion
This ancient Chinese treatment consists of the application of heat, in the form of slowly combusting medicinal herbs, to specific acupuncture points on the body. It can be used as an alternative or in addition to acupuncture to enhance its effects in an appropriate setting. It is commonly used as a "tonifying" method for deficiency conditions.
